Staple for Charity

Um, ok, so you can bid on lots of things in this world, but apparently the one that's making the news is Staples' Staplers of the Stars Charity Auction. (They do get props for that title.) Who's at the top of the heap thus far? Yup, Paris Hilton (so far at over $1,000) followed by Katie Couric in the Film & Television category. The only author listed (and aren't they the ones who use staplers the most?) is a Rabbi from Massachusetts. Bidding goes on till December 6. ungh.

I'm feeling a little under the weather today, so I'll just say that I wrote some poems a while back, and now 5 of them are up at Subsystence magazine online. Good stuff to kill time at work.
